Event Promotions is undeniably one of the leaders in the New Zealand event management industry. Operating since 1989 each year Event Promotions runs some of the more iconic events in the country, attracting around 45,000 participants annually.

So you’re tough, but are you tough enough to take on the Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge?
This is a chance for primary and intermediate aged kids to get involved in the Carpet Court Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge, an exciting and muddy adventure designed especially for children! This obstacle course race is perfect for young adventurers who love a challenge, enjoy being active, and aren’t afraid to get their hands (and everything else) dirty.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
• Kid-Sized Obstacles: Fun and safe challenges like mud pits, climbing walls, and crawling tunnels, designed to let kids test their abilities and build confidence.
• Outdoor Adventure: A thrilling course offering a day full of excitement.
• Teamwork and Fun: Kids can compete alongside their friends or simply enjoy the experience at their own pace.
• Encouraging Environment: Celebrate every accomplishment in a supportive atmosphere where it’s all about trying your best and having fun.

The Carpet Court Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge is the ultimate chance for kids to run, climb, crawl, and laugh their way through a day of fun-filled adventure. Let them embrace the mud and make memories to last a lifetime! All competitors will receive a special finishers medal for taking part!

What you need to know

The Ngaruawahia Christian Youth Camp offers a stunning venue nestled between the Waipa River and the Hakarimata Scenic Reserve. The camp is set amongst 38 hectares of native bush and pastures, ready and waiting for tough guys and gals to take on the challenge. The facilities include hot showers, toilets, changing rooms and free parking.

Numbers are limited to 1,000 competitors per day!

8.30 – 9.30am: Registration and late entries
10am: Wave Starts (Years 7-8, Years 5-6, Years 3-4)
