Description

The Pukemokemoke Bush Loop Track, located 30 minutes from Hamilton, showcases over 300 native plants, provides great picnic spots and stunning views of the wider region, and includes sites of interest which are marked along the track. These include a log hauler site, the kauri grove, and the lookout.

The track takes 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. The lookout at the summit provides stunning views of the region, with the Hakarimata Ranges, Mt Te Aroha, and more visible on a clear day.

What you need to know:

• Dogs are allowed on a lead.
• The track can be muddy in wet weather.
• Free parking is available.
• Two toilets at the log hauler site
• Shoes must be cleaned before entering.
