Kia ora, I'm Kasha, yoga teacher in Kirikiriroa Hamilton. I especially love leading a simple practice that's accessible and beneficial on many levels. I practice yoga through teachings from Ashram Yoga and am influenced by my background in public health, fitness instructing, pilates and many styles of yoga. I'm a certified teacher of yoga since 2005 and fitness since 1995. Please let me know if you have any questions.
These sessions are for people new to yoga or simply wanting to revisit the foundations of hatha yoga in a supportive, small group setting; all abilities are welcome. We cover a range of poses and how to practice them correctly and safely for your body, so being flexible is not a requirement.
Each week we also cover a simple breathing and relaxation or meditation technique. Not to be missed is a favourite part of yoga, lying down, aka shavasana :) Please contact me for more information. Registrations required as class numbers are limited.
Equipment like bolsters, blocks, blankets provided. BYO mat if you have one.
