About us

Club membership is great value, and gives you access to a coaching programme and full fleet of single and double racing kayaks. We also have smaller training boats suitable for younger members (9 to 12 years).

There is much more to your membership than simply coaching. Join in the club champs, meet other paddlers, team up for multisport events, and enjoy paddling with a bunch of friendly and enthusiastic people.

When and Where

Sunday 8:30am - Karapiro Clubrooms

Kayaking and coaching Sunday sessions run from October to May (June, July, August and September off) at 8:30am.  New members, juniors and members are all welcome. Coaching starts sharp at 8:30am from our club base at Karapiro Domain (enter at Gate 3).  Find us at the shipping containers next to the Rowing NZ and Canoe Racing NZ High Performance Centre’s.

What you need to know

Membership:

• Seniors: $150 per year

• Junior, Student, Tertiary, Limited Income, Over 65: $150 per year

• Family Membership: Pay the first two most expensive subs

• Kayak storage for Members: $150 per boat
