About Us

Huntly Swimming Club affiliates to Swimming Waikato and Swimming New Zealand and our committee work closely with our regional body to ensure we receive relevant information to pass onto our swimming whānau.  We train at the Huntly Aquatic Centre.

As a club, we are focused on providing our swimmers with opportunities to reach their highest potential to become confident, successful, life-long swimmers. Our coaching program offers conditioning and technique development and our experienced coaching team work closely with all swimmers to achieve personal and agreed swimming goals.

We are also focused on providing an environment for our swimmers that promotes sportsmanship, hard work, respect for team mates, coaches and other competitors.

Our coaches provide high quality and comprehensive swimming programmes and they are passionate and committed to producing competitive swimmers in a supportive environment.

Our programme

Joining the Club

All new swim club members are required to be assessed by our coaches before joining the club. The coaches will then either confirm your child’s readiness to join the club or they may recommend further development through learn to swim lessons.

All new swim club members are required to fill in our registration documentation and register and pay an annual membership and affiliation fees through the Swimming New Zealand National Database.

What you need to know

TRAINING TIMES

Juniors - attend up to three sessions, Mon - Fri 5pm to 6pm

Seniors - attend up to five sessions, Mon - Fri 5pm to 7pm.
